No.can I replace my aquascape in my established tank with new dry rock? will it be safe? or will it remove most copepods and blah
ooooh
Put it in a 5 gallon bucket, cover it with saltwater, add a small pump, a heater and a small piece of your existing live rock. Let that cook for 4 weeks. Feed a pinch of fish food 2x per week. This will help the nitrfying bacterias populate the new rock before you switch.ooooh
what can I do then? cuz I just modeled my scape, and now I need to just put it in
would I be able to put it in the tank with the existing live rock? im getting soooo many new coral and have no where to put themPut it in a 5 gallon bucket, cover it with saltwater, add a small pump, a heater and a small piece of your existing live rock. That is a different question than what you first asked.would I be able to put it in the tank with the existing live rock? im getting soooo many new coral and have no where to put them
ok, I have small, about palm sized rocks, would I be able to take the big rock out and leave those in? or no...That is a different question than what you first asked.
Yes, you can add new rock in addition to the rock that is currently in your system.
