Morning all! Had a weird one today. Big thunderstorms last night really messed with the power. Kept going off and on as the 600 amp line breakers on the power lines kept resetting. It was enough to make my Apex and Mobius go stupid. Lights and power heads were all acting weird. Checked the date time settings and Apex said it was December 1, 2079. Mobius picked January 12, 2056. Times were all off as well. Dumped my light setting and went to some weird setting. Still trying to get them back to what I had. I had tweaked a program many times, but never resaved it to a new program. Still working it. Took some pictures. I left a little more white in the settings and my iPhone seems to be able to handle the light better.

Mine was pretty crazy last night. I was reducing flow and everytime i went into time/date for each of the devices they were all over the place.
I’m in the market for a full conversion to LEDs from T5, before the end of this year. I was set on Radion G6 Blues. Now I’m starting to second guess the decision. We’ll see if the kinks workout.

Alot of top tier tanks and vendors run radions, that said, alot of top tier tanks are moving away from them or just generally not happy with ecotech.

I wont be going back to radions, i do want to see what the new quanta fixture is all about, the new GHL mitra bars 3 also looking extremely attractive. Apparently reefbrite has something good in the works as well.

These reefis definitely grow coral. The only thing i havent dialed in is the brightness of coral. Im wondering if the near UV detracts from the brightening of coral or if i just need to get better dialed in with my trace elements, i imagine the latter.

I wouldnt consider anything but ecotech MP series for flow though. Ecotech wavemakers have proven both reliable and effective. Outright trouble free.

I started my current tank with all ecotech lights, power heads and pumps. Pretty happy with everything. There have been a few issues, but the customer service has been over the top. Stuff I’ve had well past the warranty period they replace with new and no questions asked. Can’t beat that.

Are you using mobius for your Vortechs? Or still have them on independent reefCrest mode

I vote for either ReeFi or ReefBreeder lights. But I’m biased haha
