Nope, technically it's illegal. It's a tough spot to be in. I'm waiting to see if they get things back in order this week before deciding what I need to do. Pretty good example of me lately:

Mine was good up to about a month ago when our company decided they were just not going to pay us anymore due to funding issues... it's 'supposed' to be resolved this week. We'll see. At least I have my Army pension I get monthly.

Definitely frustrating. If they get it all resolved before the sale, I'll be set

Yeah, it really sucks when you're on the road traveling for work, then your company card doesn't work, then don't get your paycheck the next day, no notice either. Just an 'oh by the way'... Small company with gov contracts so I'm pretty sure they'll have it sorted. Fingers crossed.

My job had the incentive if you work 5 bonus shifts in December, they’ll give you an extra 400, before taxes of course. Then is only $2.65 after the government takes theirs. Also lots of caveats to the deal. Won’t see that money til mid January if I’m lucky

I just wish I had the option to work OT at my job. I guess the downside of working at job with no deadlines.

Oh yeah my Tunze 6040 died yesterday, probable loose connection, no exposed wires at least. And for a few seconds while putting the Nero 5 in its place, it decided to act weird. At least it’s working properly now. Whew

I get my raises in July if council approves it. I haven't heard yet what the recommendation is for this year but I'm not holding my breath.

How is everybody's budget for the new year? I think this recession inflation thing is really hurting corals spending budgets? how has it affected yours?

Luckily it hasnt impacted me or my wife's main job, but weve been breeding frenchies on the side for years and its super apparent there. We have a couple litters once a year and the demand/price this year around is so much lower than any other its pretty crazy. Think a lot of people are hurting unfortunately

We get a straight amount that is a percentage of the average salary for all state employees. I think last July we got a little over $2,500. It’s not much but every little bit helps.

Normally we don’t get yearly raises but with inflation the government has been approving them more frequently.

Plus my wife is a state employee so we get raises at the same time which is nice.

I work in healthcare so it hasn’t really affected me since we are so short I can pick up a lot of overtime. The incentives for picking up extra shifts have been great. I’ve been lucky. May be poking around this sale to see if I can snag any good deals
