That's one way to keep your hands out of the tank - no access.

Depending on height of the canopy you could probably get similar cabinet doors to the ones on the stand (I am thinking like 10" versions you would see over a built in microwave or range hood). You could then cut an 8" hole in the front panel of the canopy, add a few hinges and trim it out like the stand. Would look nice.

Yep that's the plan keep those hands out lol. Yes work in progress. All those things are great ideas. I would like it to just lift upward with light inside but if to much then no. I find things that go down with struts just not up it seams.

I would suggest painting the inside, especially the galvanized with a sealer paint. Helps to keep them from leaching anything into the air/tank as they age.
i painted the inside of my stand. I used an entire small container of white paint. Wanted that baby sealed up! I also painted where the tank sits in the same paint.

I stained the stand that glass cages built for me…it’s sooooo pretty!!!

I still need to do the doors. The question is do I paint the inside of the doors white? Or do I stain them?

You may be over feeding your tank. But it’s also likely just the ugly stage.

What are your parameters?

How many corals?

Photo of tank?
I mean the gha isn’t that bad I just want it gone haha! Param are good and quite a few corals. Acros are a work in progress as many have them have bit the dust but it’s getting there

So these mushrooms. They are at higher par and I’ve noticed that they are gaining green spots!!

I was thinking about selling that rock. But unsure of what price I should sell them for

If green spots grow out and see if not 40 each
