So glad it's Friday. I'll say the week has flown by, but it'll be nice to not have to get up at 630 the next two days.

Super sensitive. To almost everything. Sand especially. Make sure it’s secured. Mine fell of its live rock spot and landed with part of it on the sand. It took months to recover. I blasted detritus out of rocks and some lands on it. You get holes all over the green flesh. I had algae grow on the spot where it landed into he sand and receded. Did a mild hydrogen peroxide dip. Those stomach filaments came out of the green flesh ALL OVER. When they went away, holes that took almost a month to recover. And my most recent issue. I added magnesium to the tank and my solution wasn’t fully dissolved. A few crystals landed on the moseleya. Holes and burn marks all over it. In recovery now.

It seems the flesh is very thin and sensitive in these guys

Mine started as single polyp and I have baby heads growing all around it now. At least 5-6 new heads. They all started at the same time which is pretty cool

Can confirm the sensitivity to chemical changes.

I have mine elevated to just above the sand when not inflated. Seems to like the sand to me as it has grown out and down.

When happy it is always hungry. I feed it Benepets, krill, mysis - basically anything I can keep the cleaner shrimp off of.

Definitely not something you see every day.

And can you mix them all together to dose?

And how much should I be dosing to 85gal

That's probably your dose. And it doesn't clear it disperses and outcompetes bad algae and feeds coral.

Yep do some reading. Some are more nutrient dense like Rhoda but has to be used in a short period of time when not culturing.

Reds and gold/yellow are good for color ( think I’m memberin’ that right) of corals

Where does everyone get their phyto, any place better than another?

@Dinkins Aquatic Gardens came in really well packed, the pods were live and swimming, and when i messed up and added 30x to much, since it was live it did its thing and the tank has been doing great.

Got the Aquatop Nano ATO set up last night. Worked great from the start, just worry about the pump burning out from cycling a lot ( just the nature of little surface area in the return chamber).
