Helix ships 0-20V dimmable capable. Why add a dimmer upstream of a dimming power supply?

Man. I’m jealous of those banana corals. Honestly don’t think I’m willing to go after them until I know my tank is stable and I’m actually dosing and knowledgeable about dosing. Dropping $500-600 on a single coral with I’d say intermediate experience… nah. At least with the whale order the money is spread out through the order.

I’ve lost $140 fish, I’ve lost $100 coral. Hell. I’ve lost $100 fall out of my pocket which kills you - but to see $600 just melt away and you’re helpless and know it’s probably at your own hands. That’s rough.

I think I figured out that each coral cost me roughly $36 if I take what I spent divided by how many I bought. So that’s how I’m going to look at the cost.

After some though I'm going to put neon gobies in the frag tank. Maybe they will breed. I heard a 17 gallon is perfect for 11 or more for breeding. Now to find them for around 10 to 15 dollars vs 20.

I’d use tslot or something other than the Orphek brackets if I did it over

I went and read Al about the different phytos. The reds, golds/yellows, browns have a completely different benefit then all the greens

Yes I have a red and 2 browns going right now as well. But these color shifts are crazy! 2 greens

About 2 weeks for growth. Color a month.
Can mix together just not culture together.

Dose depends on need of tank. Start with recommended 1ml for 10 gallons.
