Did he put hands in the tank? Why would he need to do that
Inexperience getting the algae clips out and back in (hand in the tank going after dropped clip), putting the food in, attempting to clean the glass when I told him not to etc, etc. Just seems there is a modest correlation between someone inexperienced setting a tank and crashes.

Still trying to get my head around this. You know, the tank was humming along just great. I go away for a ten day trip and have two people watching the tank for me. One new guy. I come back and see the circle of death start. That keeps going through my head. The new guy plays water volley ball everyday morning and evening. Just wondering if he lathered up with non reef safe suntan lotion and then came over and stuck his hands in the tank everyday before he went to volleyball. Maybe not….maybe did. Although not totally confirmed yet, but suspected, that chemicals in suntan lotion may play a big part in the SCTLD going rampant through the Florida reef and Caribbean. The fact that my tank started crashing while I was gone makes me very suspect about that.
Tanks always have one death while gone lol. Decreased co2 etc in house.. but i would call and ask or just do those wc and as soon as the reef food suntan lotion comes out. Get him to switch.

Let's see them. I'm debating getting one

The colored down has lighter stalk. Zelda are the ones in pics below with green tips. Mixed pics of all my zelda frags below. Full spectrum brighter lighting they are dark purple stalk. Blue lighting stalk is charcoal or near black

I have 3 and they are all different but similar. I like them all. The black / green one especially. I wish they all were black/green - such a rare color for coral and contrast is great. But alas. Only one is like that
