Umm Stoney, note Lord in my listMicromussa Lordhowenis or Micromussa Amakumensis?
Which blasto? And a Blasto frag. Almost forgot, haven’t put in tank yet. Setting up for some RODI.
This oneWhich blasto?
Here’s mine still in bag acclimating.I've also read Blastosmussa merletti, each head has an individual stem. Which seems true for some. But I've read other people's comments about them growing more like an encrusting coral. I have some merletti which definitely have individual heads and stems. Then another one labeled as merletti but grows more like an encrusting/mounding brain coral. You can't really distinguish individual bodies when retracted.
So is this a blasto merletti or was it mislabeled?
Or will we see another classification of the Blastomussa?
Definitely individual heads. Here’s mine still in bag acclimating.
that looks like a merletti to me and there is at least one other blasto classification in the hobby, but i forget what they are called. wellsi, merletti, and whatever it isI've also read Blastosmussa merletti, each head has an individual stem. I haven't delved into a lot of the classifications yet, sounds like I need to. Maybe I will bump it and get it to retract, it just doesn't look like other Blastos I have when retracted.that looks like a merletti to me and there is at least one other blasto classification in the hobby, but i forget what they are called. wellsi, merletti, and whatever it is
