Not always. Don't mount to the base rock use as much removable rock as possible with your acroa on it incase aefw or something happens. I used these and tiles to save me. Once treated nothing will go in that tank again.

I use @stoney7713 frag spikes ace.....totally removable.

I am aware. Every 3 day dip in 5 gallon tank. She's not mixing. Lugals amoxacillin and KCl. Heater for temp.
