This thread has been visited by Bobert. He is part of my collection of handmade critters. My daughter was trying to make a bunny and he didn’t come out the way she wanted. She wanted to get rid of it. He became my buddy and went on all sorts of adventures. Eventually she accepted his existence and made him a bed

Yes, but…

This. I have a 3 inch sand bed specifically for the wrasses and jawfish. Not all wrasses need a sand bed. There are plenty of fairy and flasher wrasses that are beautiful that don’t need one.
I have a 2 inch with melanurus but it is thinker on the sides.

Honestly it only needs to be enough to cover them at night. Even 1.5 inches would probably work. I just wanted a fairly deep bed this time around.

3 atlas, 2 helix. With the atlas you dont have spectrum control so need something for picture time. I may put one helix on the 125 and use a reefbrite and helix on the frag. Not sure yet.
I like the dimmable option, but hubby doesn't want to spring for the new one. The ones I currently run are on a timer

I decided to go OR4 bars after @Baby_Shark recommendation. Looks like this tank will be all Orphek lighting.
Corals love these lights! The only thing is they run more on the whiter side but the blue OR4’s help with that!
