It looks like the warranty is only for one year, so I would be very surprised if they were. For two mp10 s (one older) and 3 mp40s, plus some parts, mounts, etc, 700.

Are there recent generations that have issues?

I would say pass on those man, they look too rough. I just bought two MP40’s from someone on R2R 2 months old for 500 shipped. Just wait to get a good deal from the site
