I use a pipette because if you just dunk the vial I'm afraid you get too much of the surface that fills in as you dunk it, so any surface oils or things will fill the vial. I pippette specifically from under the water line by the power head. Probably doesn't make a difference, just want to make sure I get a clean sample of water.
Flip it upside down, dunk it, and then turn it over when it's under water.

True. You also run the risk of a nip from the female clown or my starry blenny if a hand gets near the tank.

It doesn’t make a difference, definitely over thinking it.

I get my phyto tomorrow. Is there a best time to dose and does the green color clears.
Instantly clears. If your tank turns green then you’re dosing way too much. Sorry, but phyto also makes no difference in a tank that’s doing well, in my most recent experience.

Wiping it down which you mentioned in the last step is one of the most important steps. It measures light passing through, so fingerprints will skew the results. The other one is using a clean pipette so the tank water is clean. Don't use one you've been using for feeding or anything. I buy the packs of disposable ones on Amazon. https://amzn.to/3ponuor
I have one designated to clean tank water for the tests. I rinse the vials in sink water. I do make sure fingerprints are gone. I still think they’re accurate. It mostly just seems like some of the reagent packets I have for NO3 aren’t “activating” or something.

The darker the green of the container you get, supposedly the more potent it is. I dose about 10 ml a day in my little 14 g. Dinkins recommendeds 1 ml per gallon per day. Like others have said, I don’t know how much of a difference it’s making. My parameters are good. I still got Dinos somehow without bottoming out ever and an enormous amount of pods and phyto didn’t seem to have any affect on it.

Lol..I just dip the vial in the tank and fill to the line. Ive found being exact doesn't even make a noticable difference. Shake alk reagent before use and keep in fridge if nobody knows that. P04 range and nitrate range are big enough to not matter. As long as my p04 is at least .06 and n03 is 10 I'm good...prefer .1 and 15-20 but really just care about not bottoming out.
I’ve got nitrates and my phosphates never bottom out but they usually stay between .2 and .8 on any given day. Should I consider doing a little dosing to keep them up a bit higher considering my recent Dino outbreak? Frozen food and reef roids don’t seem to affect it.

.2 to .8 or .02 to .08?

So I see people dosing kalk..the amounts that are dosed daily are quite large. How does everyone make that much everyday?
Im actually using very little, although my sps seem to be in the surviving stage as opposed to thriving so they probably arent consuming anything close to what yours consume. I have the avast kalk stirrer. I have completely stopped the triton alk and cal because the kalk is fully supplementing.
