Yes I adjusted it a few tenths. It drifts down after a period of time for me, probably why the slides only last 30 days.Did you have to adjust the ph on seneye on initial use ? Thanks for the drift heads up. does it drift up or down?
Glad I didnt pay full price for it then. Got it new for $75...what a deal i thought. would have been ticked if i paid full price to find out it wasnt as accurate as needed. Primarily bought it for security and PAR meter.Yes I adjusted it a few tenths. It drifts down after a period of time for me, probably why the slides only last 30 days.
I’ve heard that it is very accurate for ammonia and think it has a good par meter on it so it’s still a nice tool to have.Glad I didnt pay full price for it then. Did you get the newest version V6 If not you might have to contact Seneye for a firmware update. There is a bug that may cause par measurements to read twice as high as they should. It all depends on the firmware version.Glad I didnt pay full price for it then. But for $75 that's a great deal!
Forget sausages. That would make one ***** bigass meatloaf !
Orphek full size is an awesome light! Icon?
Holy cow! I almost can’t believe that growth! Insane. So Shane told me to keep an eye on my coral since I cleaned up my RO/DI system and did a 50% water change. He suspected all my corals might show a big response to fixing my water purity.
It’s only been a month since I stared working on it. This is what I’m seeing. This coral has been a good grower, but the last 4-5 months it had slowed down its growth. Here is what has happened in the last month. I am also seeing as increased consumption of Alk and Ca. I’ve had to double the amount I’m dosing and is seems I will have to keep increasing it to keep up. A lot of corals that have been stagnant in growth are starting to show signs of new growth. Coincidence….or cause and effect. Don’t know yet, but I’m liking what I see.
This is a WWC Grizzly Adam’s. In the last picture, the growth spirt started after the changes I made. I’m guessing 20% growth in the last 3 weeks. Seems impossible, but thats what I’m seeing.
Im really trying but I can’t figure out the appropriate 5 letter curse word that’s bleeped out… is it tasty? Or fluffy? Or funky?Forget sausages. That would make one ***** bigass meatloaf !
Nope not even a curse really starts with h, add an e , 2 l, and an a . That’s the word.Im really trying but I can’t figure out the appropriate 5 letter curse word that’s bleeped out… is it tasty? Or fluffy? Or funky?
I know. Its like every morning when the lights come on, they all look different. I’ll try to keep posting as I see rapid growth. I’m not seeing an increase in polyp extensions yet, but hopping that’s no far behind.Holy cow! I almost can’t believe that growth! Insane.

Nice job. Explosive 2-month growth. So Shane told me to keep an eye on my coral since I cleaned up my RO/DI system and did a 50% water change. He suspected all my corals might show a big response to fixing my water purity.

Some day, I may need to go mainly LED. Did you light acclimate the corals to the change?
