I had that several weeks ago. It was light living inside a smoker.Gray smokey skies finally in southern Indiana thanks to the wildfires in Canada. Smells like a campfire.

It should be hitting us East Coasters in the next day or so . HoorayI had that several weeks ago. It was light living inside a smoker.
We've had it a few times but never to this extent, everything being gray. Makes me want to roast hot dogs and marshmallows.I had that several weeks ago. It was light living inside a smoker.
I would like some practice coralsA few words about customer service.
A few months ago I contacted SBB via PM because I was having trouble with my corals. Several of my SBB coral were dying and it was a month or so after I got them. I couldn’t figure out why. Some of you may already be aware of this, but Shane has said it’s okay to share this with everybody now. My parameters seemed to be fine, so Shane wanted to focus primarily on my water and my acclimation process. I use a seven stage BRS RO/DI system. We changed out all filters and both membrane along with a 50 gallon flush to make sure everything was now clean with no preservatives. With that done, over a month I did a 50% water change (90 gallons for 180 gallon tank). For the acclimation, I had been using Coral RX. There was concern I may be burning the frags in acclimation, so we switched to potassium chloride for my dipping. One other thing I’ve been looking at is CO2 regulation to keep my PH more stable in the 8.0-8.3 range.
Shane said he was going to send me some “practice” corals once I got everything we discussed done. Well, I just got my practice corals this morning. OMG! I expected a few small frags, but the pictures below are the corals after being in my tank for 2 hours. Needless to say, I was speechless. If anybody ever doubted where the best customer service is in the industry, doubt no more. This is over the top service to help a customer. I cannot take Shane and SBB enough for their efforts to help me with my tank. It is more than I ever could have ask for. Thank you Shane.
Here are my “Practice” corals. Polyp extension started within 30 minutes of going in the tank. Wow!Now I’ve got to make sure I keep them happy.
Nice! Hopefully it's all getting sorted out.A few words about customer service.

I’m sending off a new ATI Water Analysis tomorrow. I think it will. My worry level won’t go down till I see them start encrusting. They definitely are happy now so should have been minimal stress in shipping/acclimation. Just keep my fingers crossed.Nice! Hopefully it's all getting sorted out.
It's pretty ridiculous how good Shane is on putting the customer first. No need to beat a dead horse, but it is why most of us "regulars" are repeat customers.A few words about customer service.

Wondering if a potassium chloride dip would improve polyp extension. I have good extension just no where near these.A few words about customer service.

The Acro's I got before after the RX dip never showed this kind of polyp extension. Possibly I was burning them.Wondering if a potassium chloride dip would improve polyp extension. I have good extension just no where near these.
I did not dip mine at all so i know that is not the case. Also have good growth and color . Just not full extension. The Acro's I got before after the RX dip never showed this kind of polyp extension. Possibly I was burning them.
You have great looking acros too though. I think we have some people here that are good at growing sticks. I think I have good PE for the most part, but can't seem to get the PE out of speciosa. They are doing their thing though and look fine.Wondering if a potassium chloride dip would improve polyp extension. I have good extension just no where near these.
