We have had odd weather this year. A lot cooler than typical. Usually by mow it is weeks on end of triple digits with it being in the low 90’s at 11pm but i’ll gladly take this year’s weather lol. Last year we hit 117. Thats almost @tbrown kind of living.

Im going to order one of them co2 readers. I never really checked my ph because I figured my tank was getting decent fresh air since the sump and skimmer breather tube are 12” to 24”from the dog door. I just recently put the ph probe in because i started dosing kalk. This might explain some of the issues i have had in my tank if im still this low even with kalk and a scrubber.
We don't really call it living around here - more just surviving.

At least it's dry heat. That would suck if you had our humidity...then it truly would be survival

Yeah the southeast can be brutally hot and humid in the summer. Feels like you're suffocating sometimes.

Of course being fair skinned in in the southwest, dry heat or not, it feels like your skin is sizzling when it gets sunny and over 110.
