gonis look healthy but look like you have a lot of green hair algae around corals? My Gonis looking better and better. The @SBB Corals ones are looking particularly good with nice extension. All the pictured Gonis here are SBB
Yeah I do. Unfortunately there’s no way to set up a rodi due to weird faucets. I used to get distilled water for my smaller tank . Im gonna have to bite the billet and try that and I’m getting a bunch of cuc this week on top of what I have . I clean the rocks and such manually , in fact I’m planning on that this Saturday since it’s going to be so viciously cold . Any thoughts on things to knock it down better?gonis look healthy but look like you have a lot of green hair algae around corals?
Looks like the turf algae in places I've been having problems with it lately too. Doesn't get as long as hair algae and like tough little tufts.gonis look healthy but look like you have a lot of green hair algae around corals?
I have a turbo snail that likes it. But he only mows down so much. LOLYeah I do. Unfortunately there’s no way to set up a rodi due to weird faucets. I was thinking of a sea lettuce slug. People say they are hardy and can't nuke the tank if they die. I like the idea just for the diversity it brings, but afraid it will blow all over the tank.Yeah I do. Unfortunately there’s no way to set up a rodi due to weird faucets. Urchins... I'd take either if I could find one locally.I was thinking of a sea lettuce slug. People say they are hardy and can't nuke the tank if they die. I like the idea just for the diversity it brings, but afraid it will blow all over the tank.
Yeah basically that. My turbos(1 small one large)are good at mowing down flatter stretches . Also have some Astrea and Ceriths. Plus a small conch(tiger). My next plan is to get more cuc from ReefCleaners and a sand sifting cuke or two. Also take a chance maybe on sifting starfish. Which better option A:urchin or B: Sea Hare?Looks like the turf algae in places I've been having problems with it lately too. Doesn't get as long as hair algae and like tough little tufts.
I prefer Lawnmower Blennies and Starry Blennies. I found a cool one at a Petco I almost bought but probably would have had big troubles having 3 in a 125.I was thinking of a sea lettuce slug. I have an Orange Spot Blenny. I don’t know if such a similar one would work in my tank, even with all the nooks and crannies. Tank is 36long/24wide/16.5 high. Reef Cleaners started shipping again. The Astrea snails I picked up really helped me with mine. I'm going to add more. Currently have 20 Astrea, 4 trochus, 10 cerith, 2 nassarius in our 65g. I'm not home currently, so i really hope they're doing their job lol
It's a tough choice. Mine's a 125 with a Lawnmower and Starry but it's a 6' tank.I have an Orange Spot Blenny. I don’t know if such a similar one would work in my tank, even with all the nooks and crannies. Tank is 36long/24wide/16.5 high
