You simply have your wife near the tank and bring up the corals you have. Bring up the PE and casually say "it will be nice when this space is filled in as they grow". Then buy more...and fill in the space...I mean..it's not lying.

My freebie is the opposite, blue skin/green polyps. The great thing about the freebie is it isn't some cheap encrusting dime size frag. They are some really nice looking Acros.
