I have an Orange Spot Blenny. I don’t know if such a similar one would work in my tank, even with all the nooks and crannies. Tank is 36long/24wide/16.5 high
I think they'd fight. I had to move my watchman goby because my starry blenny got territorial. Goby is now the only resident in my newly setup 10g frag tank. Still tinkering with it. Debating if I want to get some nano skimmer, an aqua clear 50 or 70, and an inkbird (just has a heater without a control right now).

Haha, I'd have to agree. But they have a lot of quirkiness. Mine at least doesn't full on bite my hand anymore, just gives love nips. My mandarin goby perches on the starry blenny sometimes, and the blenny will give the same type of light nips to the goby who doesn't care at all.

My guy attacks my hand and my clowns are model citizens. Go figure

Weird. Mine runs away from me. So do my clowns...

Yeah I do. Unfortunately there’s no way to set up a rodi due to weird faucets. I used to get distilled water for my smaller tank . Im gonna have to bite the billet and try that and I’m getting a bunch of cuc this week on top of what I have . I clean the rocks and such manually , in fact I’m planning on that this Saturday since it’s going to be so viciously cold . Any thoughts on things to knock it down better?
cuc îs not a long term fix for green hair algae. You need to fix the root cause which is high nutrient to control algae outbreak. I would hire a plumber to replace faucet to install RODI as it is a must have for this hobby. I would also make sure to have a good size skimmer, do weekly water change, and add a UV sterilizer if you still have algae issue

Well plumber is a no go. I rent. I’ve been debating a skimmer, that’s doable. I already do water changes weekly, but hopefully distilled water somewhat.

Unfortunately no.
What about a shower head? Put one of these in between?

What about beneath a sink?

Or off the toilet?

I suggest to people shark bites but that would involve cutting a line but it does have a shutoff.

Just tossing out ideas, I know renting can be a hassle in some cases. But buying distilled water seems very expensive.

There's also the option of using an on demand pump. Fill a trash can of water and pump from it using an on demand pump through the RODI unit.
