You said the frags you just started are off the plug already?

How. I was barely over the plug after months.
Leptospirosis pssamicora and cyphastrea grow quickly is how. I chose those frags because of it. I want them to cover out quickly. Of the 8 on that rock, there are another 10 in the frag tank I didn't choose.

I guess ya. Mine all died but 1 lepto and 1 cyphastrea... Swings from dinos.

First yes or no . Good idea?!
1. Sand in sump?
2. Old dry sand , never opened, kept in bag for 2 years. Any concerns?

Would go in sump compartment with skimmer.

It'll pay dividends in the future. Remember that sand in the sump is hard to clean. Can't really vacuum it.

I thought you were getting some ocean rock to break up in there?

I have a 3" black sand bed in mine. I wasn't trying to talk you out of it, just letting you know.
