It's ppm so you have to convert itAnyone know how to determine dkh alk from this?
Definitely not correct thenIt's ppm so you have to convert it
Alkalinity Conversion Calculator
Aquarium calculator; Convert alkalinity between milliequivalents-per-liter (meq/L, meql), carbonate hardness (dKH, KH), and parts-per-million (ppm).www.hamzasreef.com
I'll go with the rest though. May have to get rid of a tang or reduce feedingIt's ppm so you have to convert it

Sovol, Ender, Anycubic (I think)... there's several decent "starter" 3D printers that will work for you and you can upgrade them as needed. That's a tough one, @Projects with Sam has much more experience and can answer it better than I can.
But I have a Ender 5 S1, I felt it was a good compromise between affordable and quality. After using it I wish I could afford a Bambu, but that was outside my budget. I have thought about the K1 from Creality too but some people are having issues with the first run, it's brand new.
Ender 3 s1 Pro is a good choice, you also have the Ender 3 V2 that goes on sale at microcenter often for $100. Cheap and doesn't break the bank, but lacking in features.
Then there's the Sovol, which I think @tbrown is thinking about getting.
The cheaper printers can have a lot more tinkering and headaches involved but can print with the same resolution just slower. Lower temp hot ends, bed slingers vs stationary z beds. You can also upgrade and mod them a lot.
Creality has sells on the Enders often so it's worth watching for a deal.
I'm by far not an expert and just got started 4 or 5 months ago. Something I have always wanted to try, so it's another hobby for me.
Maybe pop over to the 3D thread and check things out.
what are your thoughts on the pro for like 400 i thinkI will say the Ender is the most expensive 'cheapest' 3d printer out there. You basically get the platform and power supply. the first things you change on it are the springs, the bed, the nozzle, the levelling, compile a new kernel, and take out the weaknesses inherent in it.
@SBB Corals what are you using to test? Especially your iodine
The ender 3 pro s1? It is a ender 3 V2 with all the upgrades already installed. More or less.what are your thoughts on the pro for like 400 i think

According to tropic marin calculator dosing, my tank is consuming .42 dkh a day. I think your tank is more heavily packed so it's very possible.Still in Denver and going to lunch and then fish shop. Question for you all. I dose my usual esv starting at 9pm, 4ml every hr for 8x fir a total if 32 ml. I got up early this morning and test at 7am and both Hanna and Salifert shows 8 6. When I test later in the evening, both reads about 7.8. That mean coral consume that much. Pic is what we're having for lunch
I'm on my way there. They're open only Fri -Sun@Thuan , what day are you going to aquatic arts this weekend, was it today or tomorrow?
