Looks awfully good for being on the loosing side.Had to frag this branch of rainbow mille as it was losing the war with another coral
The backside is the worst of it but it'll be fine...against this guyLooks awfully good for being on the loosing side.
What does that do to the coralsI keep my violets at 100%.
What does that do to the corals
I'm not sure... It's always been that way in my tank. It's supposed to be UV rather than violet so that could make a difference. What does that do to the corals
The BRS AB+ settings that I have modified to way less whites has UV and Violet the highest. I run mine at 116 UV/Violet, 88 Royal/Blue, 10 WhiteIn all seriousness I think it's the best wavelength for photosynthesis or something smart like that
Also this rainbow millie is awesome. I likes!Had to frag this branch of rainbow mille as it was losing the war with another coral
It's a time and temperature thing... I studied that a lot when I got my first SBB order and Orange U spawned in my tank.I know there's certain times corals spawn like clockwork...whether the moon is visible or not. I think it's more of a tidal thing at a certain time
Whoa, uh, Can someone explain what spawning is in tenuis? This is the first time this newbie has heard of it.It's a time and temperature thing... I studied that a lot when I got my first SBB order and Orange U spawned in my tank.

They'll expel gametes out of every polyp that look like little white styrofoam bits. The gametes float to the top and mingle. If you have two different colonies from the same area they'll spawn at the same time, once they settle, you move your most densely colored coral with the settled polyps so they can 'borrow' the symbodinium from the existing frag.Whoa, uh, Can someone explain what spawning is in tenuis?
