Also by that definition anything above a 2x4 is a plank, but I guarantee if I went to lowes and asked where their 2x6 planks were I’d get some strange looks.
Plus I could just find a single source for that definition so I feel like you are cherry picking your source to prove your point.

Wait, isn't a 2*4 actually 1 3/4 by 3 3/4? Or is it 1/2?

As nouns the difference between plank and board is that plank is a long, broad and thick piece of timber, as opposed to a board which is less thick while board is a relatively long, wide and thin piece of sawn wood or similar material

So a plank is broad and a board is wide, isn’t that part of the definitions the same thing? If so then the only difference that I am seeing is the thickness. I’m going to have to find what boardwalk I randomly got a picture of and go there to measure the thickness of the boards (or possibly planks). Then we will have to argue over what size changes the description (since most lumber is 1.5” thick).

We'll just call it a Woodwalk? Rhymes with Woodstock sorta.

The sad part is I’m not sure if your kidding. They made a special version monopoly for just about everything.
We totally bought it for $3.98 on clearance at Walmart.
