Rich, let your fishies out of the box and put the dendros in there....

I thought the same thing... but the way my davinci was relentless when I brought the foxface in, and considering the courtship behaviors between the clowns intensifying lately, I want to try to keep the new fish in the box for as long as I can. I dont want to lose another fish :(

Thanks all.

Yea, but not so much for photos. I have my old clip-on led light with a blue and white channel if I get motivated enough to put it on for fuge pics.

Biweekly food prep done.
20190704_194420.jpg

I decide to substitute finely chopped krill for the LRS Frenzy this round. The broth that is produced from the frenzy is thick and I fear nutrient spikes may have been forced a bit by the dust-like food that the fish dont go after. I know the corals use a lot, but so does cyano and nuisance algae. I will be more sparing with the LRS and save it for rare fish treats and LPS target feeding strictly, rather than a daily regiment.

Going to be a challenge balancing the fuge consumption with food input to find a nice equilibrium that I can count on. Dialing it all in will be touch and go.

I'm down to 3 regeants for po4 ULR. Need to hustle and order some more. I would like to be observing the po4 decline every few days. But I Gotta stretch these last 3 tests for a bit longer. I worry the macro may reduce po4 more than I prefer, we shall see.

Put the sun corals in here, I doubt it is the cleaner shrimp btw.
Also loving that and the fts looked great! :)
Why do more people not feed their fish macro algae?
For viewers that don't know my tank, where the cables are there is a full glass divider with a swim through for the fish and creatures, the cube on the right is a display refugium with 2 types of caulerpa, my fish graze naturally all day and vary their own diets, two feeds a day are just to shake things up a bit and for my dwarf fuzzy lion, it is hand fed and takes veggie flake!
If people have refugiums they should grow some form of caulerpa for feeding the fish, cheato is not so food attractive ime.

Agreed with it all. Dendro is in the acclimation box and the newbies are in. I decided to whip up a coastal storm across my reef and blew the rocks off to shake the fish up a bit to ease the introduction. All is well so far.

These are getting fragged in a few hours..

The new members of the reef have been released. No issues, nothing.

And now the SHU acclimation box is protecting the dendro frags from whoever likes to dig at them overnight.

Thank you again and shout out to @cromag27 . This box is sweeeeeet!

So omw home...

"Nana" was watching the baby at my house all day with I was at @Fudsey 's.

Lost power twice, everything worked perfect, no floods, no ato issues.. phewww.

Dripping a gorg from @Scurvy (thanks)

And a frag of fudsey's unbelievable torch. Omg I'm drooling everywhere. Cant wait to get this in my tank.

@Fudsey thanks for hosting and wow what a great time. Thanks so much, rain sucks, but it was a fun day regardless. Please thank Lori for me again, looking forward to August 17th. ;)
