Funny as I was watching the video I kept asking myself what the pressure gauges on the back left glass could be for????

Of course the light bulb finally went off and I realized they were the magnets holding my frags in place!!

Ha. Yea. Those are ur zoas sitting pretty :)
The utter chaos is such a stunner

Tank looks good. Wish I had room for a fox face.

Thanks.

I got the fox with the yellow tang for $40 from a local that didnt get her big tank up in time for their growth spurt. They were in a 60g cube and she is building a 125g long identical to mine.

Cant beat half price!

Just spot fed rotifers. The Lobo is loving the stability of the tank now that I've got the flow and everything else dialed in...

High hopes for this piece to mature and hopefully be worth more than the $60 I paid for it last year ;)

Testing done

pH 8.1
Ca 440
dkh 7.9
No3 40ish
Po4 .18

Happy to see the tank settling out. 7 weeks of steady results since the upgrade. Not dosing, yet... but the 10% wc's every 10 days or so has been holding true to the legend.

Brain fart. Meant rotifers ;)

Fixed and Thanks
Wait, fart is not a banned word? Shocking. But lesbian (singular of lesbians) is. I know lesbians on this site and that is just wrong.

Alright, now that the air has cleared..

I didnt like how dark my no3 red sea results were last night, so I mixed 25g of saltwater overnight. Woke up to my ATO alarm going off

Sprung out of bed to find appx a 2" sump level increase, about 1.5 gallons of rodi had dumped in.

Salinity down to 1.022. Scary to think what would have happened if I wasnt home. This is the 2nd time my ato has done this since install less than 2 weeks ago... discerning, but I know the risks I took buying one used.

Adjusted the 25g of fresh salt to 1.028 in hope to raise it back up slightly, and will do another wc in a few days to readjust again.

Also planning to vacuum the sandbed thoroughly on this wc.

Alright, catching my breath.

25g water change on the DT done. Changed carbon, blew off rocks and, swapped a clean sock in.

I can tell when my gyres are getting corraline and junk built up just by the reduction in flow on a weekly basis. A vinegar rodi bath is coming soon.

When they are clean, I cant run them over 40% or my sand bed goes nuts.
I currently have them at 60% peak and its getting about the same flow as a clean gyre 40% setting.

Couple gallons of vinegar on the shoppin list. I am getting the urge to paint the trim today... we shall see.

Rich, I went to pick up 4 Peppermints from @jsak1976 in Derry today. You would love to see his frag tanks ! ! Acans, Zoas, Acros, Nems, Hammers, Frogspawns and more. I was tempted but right now I have no room for anything ;)
