I asked mods about doing this before and I believe the program randomly matches members so when you sign up someone will end up getting you as their recipient.

I like the idea of requiring people to acknowledge the gift. I think that's more than fair. I've got a couple of other ideas I'm gonna run up the North Pole and see what we can do to make it better. For those of you asking about giving without receiving, I have an idea on that, but I'll need to check with the Big Guy first before I say anything, so let me do some recon, but I think I can pull it off for you.
