Don't touch your eyes until AFTER you wash your hands I'd you've been touching the tank or equipment.

It's your tank and you have to find what works for you. Don't be afraid to try new things but also don't forget to admit if they don't work for you and your system. Patience and consistency is key :)

We are all here for one purpose this weekend- To buy coral and frags. When you recieve them - ACCLIMATE THEM !!

-Remove Coral and consolidate into one container that can hold +32oz
- Float cups/bags in display or quarantine tank for 20 minutes
- Drip acclimate corals from main display or quarantine tank for approximately 30-60 minutes 1-3 drops per second
- Add the provided 5ml of Coral RX dip to 32oz of water
- Adding a powerhead is preferred but if not available use a turkey baster or gently shake within mixture
- Keep coral in the dip for 5-10 minutes
- Rinse corals in fresh tank water before adding to the system

****Do Not Reuse Coral Dip as It Can Contain Toxins after use****

Stop chasing parameters. Make sure you have great filtration. Set your lights and forget them. Add clean-up crews and FEED your fish. When you do all of this it completes the ecosystem. Watch the tank and see what it is doing, testing can prove worthless if the tank is beautiful and you have high nitrates and phosphates. Let the tank tell you it needs something by visualization.

GIVEAWAY QUESTION
Give us some advice that potentially saved your tank or something you found extremely helpful when caring for your tank!

Let's help each other out! I know we have a big community here in the forums, from people who are beginners who just started their tank not too long ago to experts who have been doing this for years and years, let's pass on the knowledge!
The winner will be selected at random! As long as it is useful advice!
Closes in 20 minutes!

Biodiversity is absolutely key! Pricey live rock and even a plane ticket for it is a small price to pay when you factor in the hours of time spent combatting waves of nuisance algae and $$$ spent on products to clean your tank.

Anemones need stable tanks, don't add them until you have a mature tank. Anemone deaths can kill a tank and fast!
