Our tanks are often a work in progress. If you're greedy like me, you're always thinking of ways to make your tank bigger, better, and more full of life! Maybe you have a goal in mind that you're trying to reach, or maybe you've set the bar and are perfectly happy with how it's looking right now. Let's discuss it!

On a scale from 1 to 10, how happy are you with how your tank looks? Is there anything you want to change about it?

(1 = I just need to start over...10 = It's the most beautiful thing I've ever laid my eyes on!)

I wish I had more tank height so I could slope the rock some. I'd have to do a screen top + new light to get it further away from the water. Then I could slope it slope with its current height. As it is the corals are happy and I don't want to change anything. lol

8. I’m happy with it, and it’s been quite the journey. Definitely not perfect. I think we are overly critical of our own tanks, and sometimes need the perspective of others to help us appreciate them more.

I lost the centerpiece of the tank about a year or two ago. It was a large “Solar Flare” Acropora Millepora colony about the size of my hands. Also I lost a large colony of orange Montipora Setosa that was on the right side. It made the tank much more vivid and colorful. And the Pocillipora sometimes insists on growing in spots I don’t want it to, but I still enjoy it in general.

I voted a 5, I do love how my corals are growing (for the most part) and the overall look. This being my first tank and gaining almost 3 years of knowledge and experience I can see where I can improve things. Changing the scape up to improve flow for coral, moving the wave maker to a more optimal position for better overall tank flow to clear detritus among other things. I guess I would love to see a poll on how many people rebooted their first tank after learning in this hobby!.

I would have quote 9 in the past. I have now a smaller tank and am struggling continuously with Dino’s. Very hard to get understanding control.

I’m a solid 9. I adding a bunch of sps tomorrow and once they grow in I’ll be a 10

Also have an issue with an acantho now…kinda upset about it. Trying to get it to recover.

Overall though, I’m very happy with it
