I recommend waiting until the 40g is set up. Molly millers are a larger blenny and can be territorial.

So my kids recently discovered that Clownfish come in black and white. They have a Perc in the tank already been there about a month. Recently added a Royal Gramma with 0 aggression issues except during food time and he's not really going after the other fish more body blocking. Would it be safe to get a black and white clown at this point before everyone gets really settled in? If I do get one should it be significantly smaller than the one I already have?

You can get a black and white one as long as it is a male or juvenile. Smaller ones are more likely to be a juvenile or male. If there are multiple in a tank, get a small one.

Unfortunately, the mystery wrasse is only going to get worse, not better. You will be hard pressed to find a peaceful fish that you can add to a tank with two tangs and a mystery wrasse.

any other alternate.medicines which we get in India .
Those are what I am familiar with. Though I am a little surprised that praziquantel and metrozidenol aren't available, as they are commonly used to treat internal worms, not just in fish, but humans and livestock too.

Hey All - New to the forum. Heres my situation.

Had a 30gallon reef tank for 3-4 years, just had a baby so had to get rid of tank (moved everything to my dads tank). REcently (2.5 months or so ago) upgraded to a 40B with a 20g sump. We are fully cycled and have had corals (duncan, few different zoas, leptastrea, candy cane (already splitting)). A few weeks ago I added 4 blue/green chromis. over the first 2 weeks they were in the tank, slowly 1 died and then another and finally the last 2. I have been fish free for almost 2 weeks now. I tested while the chromis were in the tank and all levels were very good including calc, alk, phos, nitrate, nitrite and salinity. I went to two local fish stores and they have performed the same test. I have come to the conclusion that Chromis just werent for me as they can be finicky and or aggressive towards each other and cause problems. So here we are; time to get new fish

I am thinking 2-3 cardinals (not sure if i want bangaii or pj, can i mix?)
blenny - tailsplot or bi-color
zebra dartfish
wrasse - type tbd
and a show piece fish of some sort.

thoughts??

Did you quarintine the chromis? Sounds like you have introduced a disease into your tank unfortunately. 72-76 days is what you need to run fallow.

I hate to disagree, but i do not think there is a disease in the tank. All corals are doing well, snails, hermits, etc all doing well. I really think I got a bad dose of chromis. Had 2 different trusted LFS assess as well as other friends who are in the hobby

That's the thing most fish diseases have no affect on coral, hermits, etc.

A disease may or may not have been introduced to the tank. However, since the tank currently has no fish in it, it wouldn't be a bad idea to let it go fallow, just in case.

Your livestock plan is sound, though don't get more than 2 bangaii cardinals, as any more will wnd up with a pr forming and killing off any other bangaii. Bangaii and pajama cardinals can be mixed though.
