What is a few good fish choices for a 10 gallon nano tank that is going to have a clown fish in it
If it is only one clown rather than a pr you have a lot more options, some of which include: swales basslet, royal gramma, stigmatura blenny, clown goby, firefish, grammica goby.

I would like to get a pistol shrimp to but I don't know if that is wise with a glass tank

You should have no problem with a glass tank. Do be sure what species of shrimp you are getting as not all have symbiotic relationships with gobies.

I was wandering if a scooter blenny was reef safe. I have some small polyp zoas, rastas and fruit loopsthat I am worried may get nipped at

Scooter blennies are completely reef safe, their diet consists of copepods that will reproduce in a mature tank that is 50 or more gallons.

I don't know where to start a new thread so here goes, I have been in freshwater for five years and getting ready to go salt. Right now I have a 40 gal tank with a CPR HOB refugium but going to change it to a sump with 20 gallons. I haven't made up my mind on coral ( I will be going to a 55 gal in the summer) I want some clowns and goby to start with and was thinking 4 clowns with anemones but my LFS told me you can only have 2 clowns in a tank? I will go probably to one or two anemones and SPs's in the tank and no more than 8 - ten fish total. Any others ( other than small) thanks

It is wise to only keep one pr of clowns in a tank that size, it is possible to do more, but only under specific situations. The amount of fish you will ultimately be able to keep will depend on your individual tank, and the personality and needs of fish selected.

Some additions that would work would include swales basslet, royal gramma, yellow assessor, midas blenny, grammistes blenny, stigmatura blenny, fifefish, grammica goby, zebra dartfish, watchman goby, yellow head jawfish.

Just take your time adding fish and test your parameters frequently.

Thanks Eatbreakfast ( and I do everyday) for the info and will watch everything and after five years with freshwater I know how to be careful. I faithfully do water changes every week and clean filters as necessary.

After reading up on what you recommend, than I shouldn't have any peppermint shrimp, crabs etc for a cleanup crew crew? What would you advise f I wanted a cleanup crew?

My pleasure, and I'm glad you're taking the advice from my username as well.

I was thinking about a pair of Yellow stripe maroon clown fish and a Foxface for my first fish in my 125gal. The end goal is mixed reef with LPS and some SPS to go with the fish. let me know what you think.

Maroon clowns can get aggressive as they get older, and if they begin layings then they get really aggressive.

A foxface is a very peaceful fish and is usually reef safe, though on occasion an underfed one will nip at LPS and zoas.

I have a 37 gallon tank that is closer to a cube than a long tank. I "adopted" the tank from a friend and have had it close to 2 months now. Currently we have a percula clownfish (approx 5 years old) and a brown clown goby (about 3 years). We lost a bi-color blenny shortly after the move due to stress and changes in the move.

We are interested in getting another bi-color blenny as we enjoyed his personality. We also love the color of the royal gramma. What are other options for additions to our tank? What would you suggest for a maximum number of fish and should we introduce one at a time? Thanks you for your help!

A bicolor blenny and royal gramma should both be fine.

Each tank is different, so just add slowly and test frequently. Possible additions would include swales basslet, bangaii cardinal, firefish, zebra dartfish, yellow head jawfish, pink streak wrasse.

Hello, I am new to the saltwater world. I have had freshwater aquariums for more than 10 years. I recently purchased a 60 gallon tank that I am going to make into a saltwater tank. I am working on getting all the startup supplies together. I already have a tentative stocking list tell me what you guys think? PS I will have about 80 pounds of life rock in the tank

Ocellaris Clownfish (2) , One Spot Foxface (1), Blue Tang/Kole Tang, Six Line Wrasse(1) , Coral Beauty Angelfish(1), Banded Coral Shrimp(1)

Is this too much too little?

Thanks
