Makes sense for a bigger system. I wasn't sure bc some ppl said you could keep a school of them but others say absolutely not lol.
I've got a 6ft 125g with a red and purple who have been fine for a few months but the purple has now turned on the red who now is a pita to catch due to this.

Ok I have a 14 gallon biocube with a fire fish, lawnmower blenny, and my wife actually brought home a random Black Combtooth Blenny (???)I believe.

Basically I am moving the lawnmower to my bigger tank shortly but not as of now. Will these to blennys get along?

Also I am thinking of adding another fire fish goby? 2 of these in a tank good or bad?

The blenny your wife picked up appears to be an Ecsenius namiyei, it may or may not be tolerated by the lawnmower blenny, just keep an eye on it and make sure the new guy isn't getting beat up.

Adding another firefish is a bad idea. Though they are found in large colonies in the wild, in aquaria they are quite intolerant of one another, and it's not even that the aggression is even that egregious, but multiple firefish will be picked off one by one, until there is just one fish or a bonded pr. It is possible to keep a pr together in a 14g, but they would have to be acquired together and actually be a pr.

Clownfish are very site oriented, so will never use the whole tank, but captive raised ones seem a little more outgoing, it really just depends on what you like.

Yellow tail damsels are hardy and on the peaceful side for a damsel, but still is a damsel, so will defend it's territory and chase any 'invaders' out of it's territory.

Other hardy fish wouls include other damsels in the genus Chrysiptera, royal gramma, yellow assessor, chalk bass, zebra dartfish, midas blenny, watchman goby.

I don't think so. There may be a little more algae, but algae also needs nitrogen and phosphorus to grow, and their are plenty of ways to control those nutrients.

In my observations, corals seem to do well with some natural sunlight.

+1 ^ if anything I've wondered if the sun helps keep the temperature up as I've seen no reason to run a heater, as mines beside a window 2. 1 side gets sun while the other doesn't, just have more a bite more algae if the CUC/inhabitants don't stir.

No, you should be doing a partial water change every couple of weeks, at a minimum.

A foxface is borderline for being too big, for 70g.

Humbug damsels are very aggressive, and will limit future fish additions.

Azure damsels and clarki clowns are fine.

That's fine. Adding a few other foods gives variety and will cover basic nutritional needs. The greater variety you can offer the better for the fishes health. I use nls ther a pellets, Larry's reef frenzy, piscine mysis, hikari mysis, san francisco bay reef plankton.

I personally have no experience with the ammonia alert badge in saltwater.

Best ich planning is qt, and utilizing either tank transfer method, or observe and if their are symptoms run copper according to manufacturer's instructions.

Selcon is valuable for increasing the nutritional benefits of the food.

Any specific copper medicine is good.

Ammonia badge is a useful tool to monitor in a QT tank there shouldn't be any in the DT. As with any tool you should double check with a ammonia kit as well and replace as needed

The above fish are all compatible, though 65 is just borderline big enough for a kole tang, but that is a lot of fish for a 65. Not saying it won't work, but add slowly and test frequently.

Magnetic glass cleaner is perfectly safe.

Prazipro is used to treat worms, so it is effective for flukes and internal worms. I treat all my fish with Prazi when first acquired.

It's not you can't use a badge in the DT. It's more that there shouldn't be any ammonia in the DT to monitor. Once the tank is cycled, unless you have a massive die off there shouldn't be any.
