If that is so, what is the minimum tank size I should get?
A blue tang or hippo tang would use all of a 200g tank when fully grown.

Smaller tangs such as kole or tomini tangs can be in tanks as small as 75g.

Tangs in the genus Zebrasoma do better in 100+g.

Tangs in the genus Acanthurus will need 120g, wirh some species, such as clown, achilles, and sohal need even larger.

Naso tangs should probably be in 200+g.

My tank is a 120 sps tank with around 120 lbs of shelf rock. Tank is barebottom with 4x tunze 6105's. Sump is a 40 breeder. Here is my fish list that I'm considering.

Fish list

Regal angel (Red Sea) small to medium
Blue flasher wrasse
Diamond tail flasher wrasse
Yellowfin flasher (flavianalis)
Hawaiian flame wrasse
McCoskers wrasse
Carpenter wrasse
Lineatus fairy wrasse
Linespot flasher wrasse
Filamented flasher wrasse
Scotts fairy wrasse
phantom clowns (pair)
Gem tang 2" or less
Maybe a blue hippo

Can I put 2 cleaner shrimp?

This list is not set in stone and I'm pretty sure that I want all male wrasses.

Any input or suggestions on stocking is welcome.

Hi, I highly recommend wrasses, and your list looks good, but here are a few things I would mention.

Scott's fairy wrasses can be quite aggressive to flasher and other fairy wrasses. They are also prone to color loss in captivity.

A hippo tang will eventually outgrow a 120.

You can definitely keep cleaner shrimp with that list.

Welcome to R2R,
75 G is kinda small to have some tangs in there, would focus maybe on a Kole tang (yellow eye is a very nice Fish IMHO) very nice personality and very active fish but tend to swim a bit less than other tangs and spends more time grazing on the rockwork... most Kole tangs I've had beehaved excellent except for the current one I have which tends to be a bit aggressive on other fish even in a 400G tank but nothing serious...
I have a 260 gallon fish/softie tank with a purple and a sailfin. Do you think the Kole could fit in with these two personalities?

In the past when introducing a new same- species fish I would hang a piece of egg crate in the middle of the tank to "change" the environment". Wondering if this would work with aggressive tangs.Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

A kole should work, though may face some initial aggression. The eggcrate idea should work, I also recommend an acclimation box.

I have a 100 gallon tank. Currently have:
2 mated clown fish
engineer goby
yellow tang

I also have 3 large anemones. The clowns host one of them on one side of the tank. Other two anemones are on other side of tank.

Can I add 3 more clown fish if extremely tiny?

Thanks

What type of clowns do you have and how long have you had them? If they are in the occellaris/percula complex and haven't laid eggs yet you probably could add more from that same complex or another small species, such as orange skunks, provided the new ones are still small.

Your tank should be able to handle that, just add slowly and test frequently.

Welcome to R2R an egg rate separation or an introduction box can always help in assessing or allowing the aggression to pass. Of course things can still go either way when the fish get to touch each other but that's the best you can do.
Believe it would work fine but then again fish can have individual behaviors that are hard to predict.

They are occellaris. I've had them 2+ years. They used to lay eggs but haven't in several months.

What order should I add these fish? I am planning on quarantining all my fish and I have a 20long running. I don't plan on adding them all at once so which fish should I qt first? I would like to add about 2-4 fish if possible at a time.

Getting juveniles is important, as in the wild females tolerate them within the prs territory. If they are not juveniles there is a risk that the female will not tolerate new clowns, even across the tank, though usually a pr of ocellaris will tolerate other clowns with sufficient space.

I would do the regal first, then flasher wrasses, then small fairies, then larger fairies, then tangs.

Ok I have a 14 gallon biocube with a fire fish, lawnmower blenny, and my wife actually brought home a random Black Combtooth Blenny (???)I believe.

Basically I am moving the lawnmower to my bigger tank shortly but not as of now. Will these to blennys get along?

Also I am thinking of adding another fire fish goby? 2 of these in a tank good or bad?

2 Firefish unless in a large system is a bad idea as eventually 1 will bully and kill the other
