Man I remember having the purple monster 15 years ago and I've been chasing that dragon since. Would love to have a tank of only old school acros.

Frag Farmer had an "echinata" that I wish I could find again.

Hey Tim,
I hear you, I search for obscure deepwaters by scientific name constantly looking for that diamond in the rough. Agreed, 20k, 30k, PM, ORA Dustins, are all on my list. I have 30k lined up in the future, but I am truly thinking Dustins gone. Anyway, I think we need to preserve these classic corals. Another old favorite was Roscoes Blue by ORA, add that one to the list. I think that was a tenuis, but such a cool piece!
Reefbum has the real deal pm, that lighter pastel purple with white polyps, that one is killer!

Such an awesome coral, looking great!!!

It's getting some traction, sporting a gold tone, and encrusting! It and my Bugatti are growing fast for grannies, lol

Time to move on to something new :)
112 gallon acropra lagoon, built by Innovative Marine 3ft cube. Here I will document all my goodies. Trying to get organized, so a teaser pic while I get back to work.

What are you going to do when they start growing?

Thanks for looking over the journal. I have a dedicated reef room where my sump and filtration are. There I can add whatever, likely a low boy, still undecided.

Looking good @Perry! I'm going to have to make a top-down viewer like yours to start getting some good pictures.

Hey Jim,
Thank you!
It doesn't take much to get quality pics, again, no need for thousands of dollars in camera equipment, lol. I rarely break out my Cannon DSLR, just too easy in "pro mode" on Samsung. Slight post editing to match "real life" color, and walla...
All the best!

Agree, the Samsung phones have actually an incredible native camera pro mode. I don't think anything similar is offered from Apple the last I checked a newer one.

Don't turn Perry's thread into Apple vs Samsung!! lol.

I found it locally! Now I just gotta get the guy to clip a piece :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: He don’t like chopping corals.. it’s one of the 2 old skool tanks left out here that was straight from tyrees hands many years ago.!
