You're right down the road from me, have we met?!? I love in Richmond Hill and have a 405 reef. Great build and would enjoy seeing the tank in person!
My zoas I got from the cherry corals live sale this past summer took a week, low flow and medium light to come out. Hope it comes to be for u as well. I always enticed with reef roids around them 2x a week.
Clove polyps are so finicky. I've had 3 different mini colonies go from great to crap in a week and die. I gave up on them for now. Such beautiful colonies when they are thriving tho.
Got a nice pic of my BTA last night.
It’s starting to “bubble up” a bit more.
I’m trying to figure out why, although I never will!
So what’s different is:
Cranked up lights another 5%, 2nd gyre has been in a while, and nitrates went from 14-16 to 8.
Since Late March it has mostly looked like this
Now it’s bubbling more and more each day
What do you all think?
It's bubbling for the same reason mine is starting..... because it wants to ;Yuck;Yuck
I wonder if it's the flow. I had some splits in my 65 that really bubbled up once I added a gyre to the mix. Looks great!
None sticking, but my pond has about 3 inches of ice on it. No snow in the for cast, looks to be a brown Christmas right now! How is life down there? Heading to Myrtle Beach in July, but if I remeber correctly that's a haul from youThanks buddy! How you doin?
Any snow yet?
