Billy your tank is really big and you have a ton of rock, as long as you supplement with pods every now and then you will be fine!! You could always set up a refugium as well if you are super worried about it.
That’s what I’m banking on will keep their population steady! If I remember correctly you guys carry pods right? I can only make it down every few months or so nowadays but I feel like that would align with pod supplementation pretty well! I just set up my refugium a couple weeks ago as well and Chaeto is starting to grow nicely and my nitrates haven’t really moved up or down since so that’s been nice!

If you are not already dosing live phyto, I would start. My pod population went crazy when I started. Make sure it’s a blend of live phyto, not just one species. Try out Dinkins. I really like their products.
I have heard nothing but good things about dinkins so I’ll definitely have to check them out! I’m almost out of my current phyto so I’ll probably order from them and give it a go!

Off topic question but what does everyone use for taking pictures of their corals and fish? I’m trying to find filters and lenses for my iPhone. I don’t have a regular camera at the moment and I can’t take a good picture to save my life without turning the whites all the way up. Which doesn’t show family who want pictures what I see everyday!

I want to say that UV doesn’t kill them but I am no expert. It might kill phyto though which could also have an impact.

I just use my Motorola phone. I put it in manual mode, adjust the white balance up, and adjust the zoom and focus.
