They have been easy for me. I've struggled with "easier" coral like favia.
Any tips? I hear you should feed them quite a bit. Maybe i wasn’t feeding them enough.
I feed heavy and have a dirty tank. Did better in light than shade. I have no real secrets. I can post the tank with arrows to the gonis.
Love it!! I would like to do a little island of gonis. My wife loves ‘em.3 gonis at each arrow with the ones nearest the point being the same type and came the same size. Power head on the right is 1600gph. Xr 15 at 35% centered over a 40b.

They def like to be fed, we feed a powdered coral food (Benepets) twice a week and supplement with amino acids as well. They want available nutrients but as semiclean tank I would say nitrates under 15 and phos around .04-.08

Moderate light is best! Medium flow as well.
