We're going a little different tonight and did "Mediterranean Bowls" (think Cava if you have one of those nearby). Basically a fancy salad with lemony chicken, kale, tomatoes, olives, bulgur? (never had this before) and lemony hummus dressing. August has been an adventurous month for us, trying new foods before we get back into the "back to school" routine, We've been trying lots of new foods this month, with the hopes of me finding more easy, go-to meals for back-to-school season since our sports and school schedules are about to be bananas again!
Sounds like a lot of prep but other than that can be grab and go. I need more easy quick food. Tub o hummus and veggies worked before, but less so now.

It wasn't too bad! Roasted the chickpeas in the oven at the same time the chicken baked. The rest was just salad building, really. Prob half an hour from start to finish!

Yea, i screwing with the shop pay trying to split payments and it wouldnt let me for some reason and you sniped it from me. I was trying to not to buy anything, but there to much fire being posted.

Not bad. And it's a meal that would keep a few days. Might have to cop it for dinner tomorrow; thanks!

I'd leave out the kale though.

I saw theirs. I'll give it a try too. I should work on the neighborhood convenience store to get some 0% in stock. I poopooed it for some time, but I'm coming around.
i they got a total wine in my area, which carries some good 0%, and they ship and same day deliveries....

Kale has really grown (lol) on me. I hated it at first, and it seemed like such a hippie dippie fad thing. But my friend taught me how to make it tolerable. (Cook it, OR toss it in a bowl with olive oil, lemon juice, and salt and actually use your hands to moosh it all together -- it changes the texture AND makes it tolerable!) **at least in our experience haha

Don't forget the garlic. Lots of garlic!
