Setting up a new tank and going with an LED T5 hybrid. I bought the Aquatic Life Hybrid. Will be using the Kessil AP9x along with T5’s.

Orphek OR3 2x sly blue, 2x blue plus, and 2x day plus bars.

I've got XR30 blues currently, but would rather have the coverage of those bars plus the coloring and growth they produce are simply incredible.

Probably an Ai Prime. I am using a Chinese black box right now and it works, but my freshwater tanks have programmable lights through my phone and I'd love to have that on my salt tank.

Switching from 4 Coral box moon led to a Giesemann aurora hybrid 4xT5 + 3xLed with 1 Orphek or3 blue plus on each side of the ramp.
Ought to be some Improvement in growth and color I hope.

Gen5 XR30 blues all the way. I have had a few different ones and radions are great IMO no problems at all and mobius is nice too.

What was wrong with the stratons?

Absolutely nothing!! The stratons are a great light!! They were the backbone of my tank!! But I’m also a master grower, tweed, aphria. Multiple others lol. And a little bit of a light junkie!! Hahha. Was metal halid/hps. Then snuck over to led!! Lol I feel like a test pilot from the amount of lighting I have gone through ! But my opinion is just one and we all strive for the same. Bang for buck radions!!! But I find most under light their tanks!

I have 4 kessil A360x and 8 T5s Aquatic life hybrid on my 96 x 30 x 30 tank. Now that my nutrients are stabilizing and I am venturing into Acros, I am thinking my tank is underlit. T5s are already 16 months old.
1. I see the new gen Orpheks are on sale.
2. Heard of Acro Optics LEDs
3. Neptune sky

Really?? That’s one ugly looking light. Unless it’s going in a hood there are plenty of other options out there.

The only redeeming quality it has for me the the ability to angle the light to where you want but then again this is negated by the other options of a blanket of light ie Stratons, Orphex, GNC blu ray (which I’m partial to!) or even the Gen 5 with diffuser.
