How many tangs has everyone kept at one time in their tank. Me as of now I have 9 in my system. I would also love to see some pics of your tanks as well!

I will bite . You have 9 large tangs in a 6' 125 gallon tank that is CHOCK FULL of rock. There is barely enough space in there for 3 small species tangs. let alone 9, including 2 or 3 monsters.

You recently asked about aggression... If I lock you and 8 of your buddies in a 10x10 room, how long until you are at each others throats?

I have 2 in my redsea reefer 350 which I believe is about 75 gallon display. Captive bred yellow tang and a white tail bristle tooth. They seem to be doing fine since it’s a longer tank so more swimming room.

Maybe, but I try my best to assume when people post like this they're genuinely just looking for cute pics and have a 300+ gallon tank. Helps me sleep better at night
It is a 6' 125 that is absolutely full of rock.

We can have discussions about grey areas, but this is insanity and to me no different than somebody boasting that they keep 3 dogs locked in a bathroom 24 hours a day and wanting to meet people that do the same.

Edit:

I will try to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that none of your research indicated that the larger tangs are not suitable for this tank, and that 9 tangs of any breed are too many for this tank.

Those large fish have absolutely no business being in this aquarium, it is far too small for them. 9 Tangs of any size in this tank is pushing it well past the a reasonable limit as well.

The responsible thing to do would be to rehome the larger fish and limit the Tang population to 3-4 smaller tangs.

The tangs in my system get along really well and have all been put in as tiny little guys a couple years ago so they all grew up together and I am not opposed to putting them in bigger systems if I see stress signs or anything that would be inhibiting their health and I also take endless amounts of time for research and study of the said species i keep. Also I took time to ensure the tank has a good bit of space behind the live rock it is mostly used for grazing opportunities and hides if the fish need. It is set up in a way that is like a racetrack setup for sharks

I also took time to make sure my aquascape doesn’t go above the top 50% of my tank so they have a good bit of open space above the aquascape as well to swim

Honestly, doing well by what standard? A dog tied to a tree on a 2' rope at the end of the yard may look like it is doing well, but is it?

Then you know what you are doing is beyond frowned upon both in count and size, but have rationalized that the guidelines and advice don't apply to you?

To do this you have had to outright ignore that fact that those fish can barely turn around in the tank and that they barely fit between the rock and the water surface.

Also I took time to ensure the tank has a good bit of space behind the live rock
The tank is 200 - 300 gallons too small for that many tangs, especially tangs that large.

It all depends on behavior because a stressed tang with limited space will kill and or relentlessly bully the others for space and that doesn’t happen at all in the system p

And yet, isn't the whole reason to post such a thread to try to prove them wrong and justify a large number?
