Chromis like to school. Maybe being a loner has suppressed his appetite?

When I had chromis they seemed to stay towards top of aquarium. Most of mine succumbed to uronema when it got down to a couple they gradually became very lethargic and wasted away.

Sounds like the last few may have been killing each other off slowly, as chromis do in small schools. I had a similar experience with fw tiger barbs (behaviorally the equivalent), where in small schools some get picked off, slowly losing strength due to the constant bullying.
