Until the day CP or some future wonder drug is deemed wrasse and anthias safe I'll never go without one.

Unless of course Humblefish decides to get in on the rare wrasse trade...Hint hint, nudge nudge ;)
I am sure he has a very long list, of Wrasse Requests!

I spoke to someone at Hanna the other day. About something else, but mentioned that the hr copper checker was probably on fire because of recent online discussion. He exclaimed 'So that's it!' or something similar, and then mentioned that they currently had 52 orders for the checker yet to ship.
Haha, the R2R effect!

Another update on my QT:

I did top off my tank just before testing and now I wish I would have waited till after, but anyway. Three days fully therapeutic, and I'm loving this thing. I ran the test again using single reagent with both testers. See the result below, backup API test, for what it's worth.

Oh and, all fish are still acting normal, and eating well including the 4 Wrasse! What copper?

In the short time you've been here you have made a HUGE contribution to the hobby, my friend.

Being able to treat close to the minimum therapeutic level, by using this Hanna checker, is going to save countless fish lives and make QTing so much easier.

My hat is off to you. :)

Thanks, I appreciate that, and your kind words. It's good for everyone. For sure. Just so everyone knows, you can thank last summer, and @4FordFamily and his in home audio system I installed at his new home for all of this. I got to talking fish with him during the project and that was all she wrote for me, totally hooked. I had always wanted a saltwater system, just never pulled the trigger, until I had someone to guide me along the way. Some days I want to punch him for it. But we have alot of fun annoying our wives with fish stuff!

I ordered a checker and a bunch of other reagents last Thursday. Just got hit with the bad news tonight after finding how long it would be back ordered.

I know, it's a bummer. I can assure you though. It will be well worth your wait. I'm in the same boat. About out of reagents... Hoping to have them by the end of next week!

No one was prepared for the increase of sales literally about 1000% or more over the course of the last two weeks. They’re tooling up and getting ready to sell a ton of these! Sorry for the delay, I agree though it’ll be well worth it!

I placed an order with the above store but 5 days later and they rejected my order because my credit card is "international"
Do you have the other store link yet?

Thanks greatly!
The only other website I can find is below, I have never dealt with international shipping/purchasing. This appears to be in the Netherlands. You can also monitor ebay, I have seen one come and go on there since all of this started.

Got my tester but with my calculation I am suppose to does 59ml of copper power for 40g to get 2.5ppm. so I started with 19.6ml and it shows 0.70ppm. I tested the tester with the reference tester and for 1.96pmm ( references is 2.0+-0.1)

I believe the guys suggest 2.0 ppm for Copper Power and only to use 2.5 ppm for unusual cases, like copper resistant fish or parasites.

So your target was .83ppm?
Anything that could absorb copper in the 40b?
How soon after dosage did you test?

+1 agree! 1.75-2.0ppm Using "The Hanna Method" I am trying to stay right at or below 1.75ppm

I'm shooting for 2.0 over a week. I do have a small Tupperware of sand for my lennardi.

Break up the daily copper dosing if you can to smaller doses, AM, PM or AM, lunch, PM. Seems to really help the fish adjust to the copper.

I'm following you. What I was getting at, was by your original post I thought you were questioning your reading of .70ppm. It might be a little lower than expected. But I am experiencing a slight bit of absorbtion as well with my QT. Which may be normal just based on the fact that with visual methods we never would have noticed a very slight amount.

For what it's worth, I just yesterday finished 30 days of Coppersafe qt. The last 8 days was where I found out, using the Hanna High Level Checker, that the API Copper Test Kit was not very accurate and I was overdosing. What I thought was 2.0 ppm was actually 2.8 ppm. Lowered the level to 1.92 using the Hanna 7 days ago. Checked it yesterday, 7 days later, before I was started to remove copper and it tested EXACTLY the same at 1.92 ppm. How nice is that. Awesome. Fish are doing great. The wrasse that was suffering due to the over dose of copper has already fattened up and is zooming around the tank. Nice.

Side note: I used BioMax media in my HOB. Never noticed any copper absorption throughout the 30 days. Now that I have the Hanna, will use it in my next batch and will post a thread using the new tool. And also zero ammonia using the BioMax. Similar to what Humblefish has found with the Seachem Matrix media. More good news.

I also have the fluval media in my sump seeding it thanks to you guys! I think the culprit is one of my sponges.
