Awesome! That’s good to hear. I figure in maybe a year I’ll upgrade to something like the 64HD or something but I’d like to just use what I have to get things kicked off and growing.
have fun and goodluck!

Awesome tank. Have been tagging along and really like your 60.
I don't know about any studies that have been done but I do know that a lot of sps will want to put down a solid base before they start growing and being glued to rock will allow them that. Unless you allow them to encrust all over your frag rack too. With lps like cyphastreas and favias for example, I dont think they would care really and just expand onto what ever surface is available. Same with zoas, any surface I don't think they would care.Question: Has there been any studies that show if gluing corals directly on live rock will be better for coral growth compared to leaving it on a frag plug and gluing to rock?

Oh geesh, I just re read this and you had said frag plugs, not frag rack lol. Sorry, then ya, I don't think corals care one bit whether it's a frag plug, rock, or a tile. Thanks for the info! Since being home for this SIP, I have been clearing my frag racks and starting to mount the corals on the rockwork. Some with frag plugs and some directly to rock. Hopefully they start doing better than on the frag rack and grow!
Been saving a good amount of money with SIP, been itching to buy something (not super expensive) for the tank but dont know what to buy! LOL
Any suggestions on what to buy that can benefit the tank? Maybe name something you guys recently purchased for your reef tank?

Thank you !!!!What lens combo does everyone use to get the best looking picture that gets the most coloration?
My tank is currently under a Hydra 26HD with mostly blues on with 8% whites using a Galaxy Note 10+ to take pictures. Any suggestions and best settings to take the best most colorful pics?
Orphek Reef Lens kit
and a couple of Aquarocks 9 holed sandbed frag rock displays to put my zoas in to get rid of that custom acrylic frag holder LOL Thanks @Aquarocks for the quick communication, service and shipping!
Love how full the tank looks. Did you ever make a decision on the extra hydra 26? I have one on my 60 cube. I had a metal halide as well, but recently unplugged it and everything is dong great with just the one hydra. I think I'm just going to leave it like that for a long time. If I add anything, I will probably add reefbrites, but probably not even that.
How does that tomini do in there? I want a good grazer in my tank but never know if they do ok in the 60cubes. Obviously yours is fine because its still in there lol. I need to beef up my fish stocking.
