Awesome! What kind of Zoas are those in second to last picture?
I can't remember honestly, but I know I got them from Jason Fox. The Montipora is actually the Volcanic Eruption Montipora Cap from Jason Fox as well, it puts up little columns but has plated yet, probably because the flow is so intense at that spot.

Nice! Also would you mind sharing the schedule for your xr15 and your t5 setup? I have an xr15 on my 40g and I’ll have my new t5 fixture added onto the tank this weekend. Your spectrum looks very clean, not just blasted out with blue, which is what I’m looking for

Yes!
Xr15 and AI Primes are on 12 hours a day. They have an hour and a half ramp up time. All of them are at 100% on an AB+ schedule.

The 4 T5s are on for 4 hours a day at peak daylight time.

Man, just blasting that tank with light and flow! It’s always cool to see “low light low flow” corals thriving in a tank like yours. You have Zoas that are probably getting several hundred par and heavy flow that look awesome. Same with that holy grail micromussa

Yeah very true. They are a bit out of focus but these Blastos are absolutely cooking on this rock and getting hit with full flow. They started as two small frags and have completely engulfed this rock now. I have to scrap them back every few months.

Did you acclimate to the light/flow or just put them there? Crazy growth in just a couple of months. Is there anything you can attribute to your growth? My tank is new, only about 5 months and growth is slow

No, they were actually lower in the beginning and did a slight aquascape change about year ago and that rock got moved to the top. That's when they went crazy, they definitely love the spot.

Parameters:
PH: 8.15-8.32
Alk: 8-8.2
CA: 415
MG: 1350
Nitrate: 22
Phosphate: 0.5
That is amazing growth given your Phosphate level is 0.5! Your level destroyed my thinking high PO4 level greater than 0.4 slows down growth.
How stable is your phosphate level and range? I can't get my corals growing as fast as yours from trying PO4 levels ranging from 0.9 to 0.05. Could there be something else making your corals grow so fast?
Do you have any insight you can share about your rapid growth?

I don't think that's very high Phosphate, seems to be a moderate amount, No3 is a bit high but everything seems happy so I don't really care about chasing the numbers.

I honestly think its just stability, no sand, I dose a mix of Kalk plus 2 part. I literally never change anything in the tank unless it's absolutely needed. I never put my hands in the tank unless it has to be done. I feed the fish a lot as well. Sending out monthly ICPs help also just so you can course correct anything looking out of wack. Plus I think starting off with Australian Live rock helped tremendously.

How many pounds of rock do you have in your tank?

How often do you perform water changes?

Thanks for answering my questions!
No problem!
I believe it’s 15 pounds of Aussie Love rock then probably 10 pounds of base rocks from Marco Rocks.

I do 10-15g water changes every two weeks.
