I am actually tearing down my fiji cube 10g this weekend. it is just too small for what i got going on right now. Funny thing is last year I had a 6g, 10g, 13.5g and a 3g. This year I have two 40g's, the 30L and I am setting up a IM25 lagoon EXT for a frag tank out of necessity.

Just started a 30L. Might pick up a handful of Chromis. I know they are not expensive in the first place, but I feel they should be about $5 bucks a piece. And if you want them to school, it can get pricey.
I went to get some chromis recently for bio load. A few years ago I paid maybe $30 for 6 of them, no big deal. Went to the cheapest livestock place in town the other day and they’re charging $17 each. Still the cheapest in town.

Nice tank . Had that as my second reef setup. Lasted a whopping 5 ½ months before I got the itch to go larger. If I had the room I would’ve gone back to that or find a used 40 gal Nuvo cube.

I really like the spacial relationships of a cube. Actually IM has a 115 cube-ish that I covet. Luckily that cannot work with my current living situation. I can never do just one tank. IM is about 20 mins away from me and I got a super deal on the 30L, it was supposed to be the tank for the office, but that never happened. If I had my druthers, I would have chosen the 50L instead. It is the size of a 40 breeder but with an AIO.

Let me sleep in! It's summer break! Words I NEED to teach my children. I've already been up for 2 hours and they have been out of school for 2 weeks now.

It’s unwrapped! And now first impressions. The tank itself is a beauty. But…I had to assemble the media tray as a kit, which was easy to do but tedious. Not using the sock, they’re a pain in the tutski. Outflow pump is serviceable, but might upgrade it later. Light mounted. Would’ve done a bit more, but took longer than I thought it would.

Not sure how well that pump will work, I'm sure it will be a nice nem guard but I think it will restrict flow a bit. Plus cardboard tends to get a bit soggy.
