Back to the Nano. My SPS dominant 22 gallon Fiji Cube (some LPS)

I think I have star corals too. Again they are bouncing back. Hard to ID them.

They say springtime those tiny octopus are more common hitchhikers. That would be pretty cool but limit the tank inhabitants.

As tempting as that is I think that I’m sticking with my plan. Gonna use one or two larger pieces plus some nano sized I have in the tank.

Oh I know, I'm just messing with you.

I just love the surprises love rock offers. Some of them even offset the cost of the live rock if you think about it. The amount of money you spend on the clean up crew and such.

BTW if you have one of those "good" Petco around you they have a sale this weekend. Might need to pull an all nighter and get that tank going.

I actually do have a “good” PetCo . The only fish that’s in the tank at the moment that isn’t a PetCo one is my Spotted Mandy. The aquarium section manager gets more specialty fish and less run of the mill .

Yeah going with sand as I want to give the goby/shrimp combo a go i think.

Well aside from the clowns and cardinals, I got my Orange Spot Blenny, Leopard Wrasse, Red Velvet wrasse and Melanurus wrasse from there. The Velvet was a steal somewhat. I got it for 50 bucks at almost 3 inches long.

Those are cool too! But the short lifespan is what turn me off. I'd hate to get "attached" to it and it die in a year.

Did give serious thought to it. Gulf Live Rock has 10 lbs for 59 buck plus cost of next day. Or a nice 17 lb nano package for 89 bucks

thats why cuttlefish eggs are a good bet. and then breed them because the beybeys are adorable

I did see a post, I think it was on YouTube from a reefer who had several small octopus and 6 cattle’s in the same tank. Watching them eat was both fascinating and horrifying as the attacked the live food

I got the 17lbs, pieces were perfect size for my nano. It says fist size but almost all of mine were larger. I was worried they was going to be smaller than what I wanted, but they are perfect. I was considering the 20lb deal.
