Looks like Dr reef has the spotted mandarins right now. I've emailed him before and you can specify gender. Bluezooaqaquatics in LA has them in stock, they ship everywhere, you'd have to contact them about gender though.
Careful about adding another, I know you have other tanks, you may have to separate them even if they are M/F. If the female is too small she may get bullied. Or in my case, I think the male wants to breed and the female doesn't.
Good to know. I am a little leery of mail order fish due to some recent issues of fish not surviving long after going into the tank. I know it’s not the tank cause almost all the PetCo fish I’ve had were fine . Maybe it was the vendor, though Reef Pro is supposedly reliable. And the other it was strictly the vendor.

They have done the mating dance several times since I have had them, but recently the male has beaten up the female. I chalk it up to he's just to horny for just 1 female.
Also forgot about if there is a food shortage, but I have plenty of pods and they also eat prepared foods. Just one of those things, like filefish....

And I get 32 oz of Dinkins Snacklebox every month(rotifer/copepod mix) plus phyto. Saltwater Aquarium had a buy 100 mixed pods get a second free for 39 bucks. I’ll be adding about 10 lbs of rock from the 60 and a mix of plain dry rock andCaribSea LifeRock as well as 25-30 lbs of CaribSea Pink Fiji live sand .
SBB Acros and Gonis for now. That leather is bigger than the tank just about. Sorry, as much as I love leathers…..

Just started a 30L. Might pick up a handful of Chromis. I know they are not expensive in the first place, but I feel they should be about $5 bucks a piece. And if you want them to school, it can get pricey.BTW if you have one of those "good" Petco around you they have a sale this weekend. Might need to pull an all nighter and get that tank going.
