Any updates?

Sorry for no updates in a while. Had some issues that literally put the brakes on the build progress. Also looks like I'll be going fishless until next year.
The good news is the corals are doing great. Also tank uglies cleared out within first 2 weeks of the big swap over. I'm going to remove some rock too.

Been over a month from last update. System is doing great. I had a few water on ground moments and am still trying to get the mp40 positioned properly to prevent water splashing onto floor.
Still have not settled on a controller for my co2 scrubber and system ph control. Also debating turning the top off tank to a refugium.

Decided to post up this progress picture. As some know I wiped out all my sps about a year ago. This monti was one of only 3 survivors and I honestly thought it was gone.
Here is a picture from three months ago compared to today.

Wow, thats interresting.
Just read your thread, very nice progress.
Are you just running the halides, or with t5,s.
A pic of your lighting setup would be great.

I am running Halide only. Decided I did not need t5. The color in person looks very good reminds me of swimming on some reefs. I have toyed with the idea of adding 420nm led and lunar lighting though.
I have only 2 Hamilton pendants and they spread the light very well. I will add a third if I find the sps want more par. Except for extreme edges the sand is sitting at 200par currently.

Ill get a picture posted.
