If you already have an apex, get a trident. It measures alk, ca, and MG as many times a day as you want. When your alk is stable, it provides a great heartbeat for the tank. I can look at the ups and downs and compare to previous days, and if corals are comsuming more or less alk based on any changes I made. Pretty awesome and I'd never run a tank without a trident now.
2 dos units one for two part the other for nutrients.

Oh, @ryshark I also have 2 dos units, but I run All-For-Reef as a 1-part and LOVE IT compared to 2 part. I was having really bad precipitation issues with 2 part. SO:
4 dosing heads:
all-for reef
kalkwasser at night for a pH boost
neonitro
neophos

In a big volume tank I'd probably trust manual, but things can change SO quickly in my little 70 gallons that I like the automation - and - ive never had terrible readings other than that one time I did a water change during a test, and the intake line got clogged with crap - whoops

I do have an APEX already. I should really buy one before the long vacation I have coming up.
