They just test wrong so often. I'm a manual testing caveman..lol

Oh great…. Last thing I want to is be on vacation and adjusting my ALK / CAL dosing based off inaccurate tests. I manually do Hanna Checker, pretty much daily.

You have to do anything for ph? I guess I'm lucky and it's in my main room with plenty of c02 exchange I guess

Kalkwasser at night. Metal halides during the day( ph literally goes from the 8.2s to 8.4s within the first couple hours ( the power of the Sun lol)

Oh, @ryshark I also have 2 dos units, but I run All-For-Reef as a 1-part and LOVE IT compared to 2 part. I was having really bad precipitation issues with 2 part. SO:
4 dosing heads:
all-for reef
kalkwasser at night for a pH boost
neonitro
neophos

I don’t have any issues with the ESV 2-part.

70 gallons total volume. Don't let the naysayers push you away from a trident, SO many people use them and as with any technology, it should be used to inform, but not replace your brain in decision making. Still rub some brain cells together even if you have a trident lol

Yeah..I'm not really bashing it. I think it's great when it's rocking and rolling. The readings would perhaps make me react erroneously if I was away though.
