I was curious if your nutrients had dropped, specifically the PO4… looks like it did some. I had done five 15% water changes to drive to reduce mine. It helped some, but the biggest decrease was from using a couple cups of GFO. I’m down to 0.19 ppm PO4, which I’m very happy about. Color is returning and some acro are growing out.

I'm either too lazy or busy or both for really frequent water changes...I dose LaCl when I'm feeling spicy and it pulls them down some, I haven't seen anything change with GFO except my bank account balance. It's beer running north of .6 for over a year, so I have a lot bound to the rock/sand. I have a long way to go...

Transferred my efflo frag from the quarantine tank to my “Turbo Tank” display, which has a system water volume of 240 gallons. Both tanks had a high 0.89ppm PO4, zero NO3 issue a few months ago, but just realized it the beginning of July. High Phosphate levels: “It will Keel” Forged in Fire.

PO4 is now 0.19ppm
9.6 Dkh
~ 15ppm NO3
Ca 435ppm
15% water changes each week

August entry. I’ve also attached some parameters. I don’t test for calcium or magnesium. Those are in range based on ICP tests.

Looks like we are starting to get some base growth. The coral is starting to encrust. Has anyone else had any growth?
