Wow, what do you attribute to your success here? Looks like phenomenal growth
I believe @dewy ’s is bigger than mine.

I’m excited to see his September entry.

If I win, I’ll share my “secret.”

We survived Hurricane Helene in Gainesville FL. Power went out the night it made landfall; was out for about 12-hours. Hooked up our generator to keep circulation going in the tank. No issues or losses as a result.

For lighting, use Radion Gen 4s & a 6’ Quanta Pro light bar “OG Pop” as supplemental lighting. Par readings taken near the efflo are about: 120@8:35am, 160@9am, 160@10:45am, 195@11:30am, 240@1pm, 235@3pm, 160@4:30pm, 110@5:40pm, 80@6:25pm. Lights out at about 8:30pm. Light bar hours: 11:30-4:30.

The first two photos are of the same tree that crashed down in our neighbor’s yard, took down power lines, and blocked off the road. The third pick is from another neighbor with a pine tree that hit his garage… luckily no injuries

I’m glad you’re safe.

I’ll try and take a pic and post it tomorrow. Mine might be a little longer but yours is way more encrusted than mine. I need to get mine off my frag rack.

Okay, you’re inspiring me to hook up my old school T-12 super actinic Fluorescent lights. Gonna put a couple of 6’ tubes up front. I had them on another tank but didn’t put many hours on them. Not that I stand a snowball’s chance in h@$$ of winning this contest. Haha

These are starting to look good guys. I have
feeling we’re gonna have some “saucers”
by the end of this one.

I’m gonna bow out of this. The coral is still alive, but stunted. It may take a long time to get back, if ever. I wasn’t playing to win a prize anyway. Good luck to you all!
